Walkers to scrap salt 'n' vinegar crisps
And possibly prawn cocktail and smokey bacon. Apparently lime and black pepper are all the rage. What has the world come to? I love ready salted whats your favourite?

Some silly bollocks going on with Walkers whereby you have to 'buy them and / or vote for them online' to "keep them"... so basically, THEY want to drop flavours and change the range, and they want it to look like WE have made the decisions, not them.

Basic management technique i.e. they have already decided what is staying or going and they are hoping to 'head off at the pass' the slagging they will get before it happens. Naïve or what?

My four year old has crisps with her sandwiches after school, she will ONLY eat Walkers Prawn Cocktail and can tell within one mouthful if she's been screwed over. And it looks like PC flavour is one of those slated for death by subterfuge.

Perhaps they are trying to 'modernise' the flavours because sales have fallen since Big Ears poked his fat nose in on Brexit..? That would be a wonderful situation if true, they deserve all the grief they get.

If they scrap salt 'n vinegar I will never buy another packet of Walkers crisps, ever.

That will show them.

Ready salted comes after the packs with the little blue wrap of salt.

Salt and shake is the original. Everything else is new-fangled.

Phileas Fogg snacks made a brief comeback 6 or 7 years ago, but alas it was a different range (the hot tortilla chips in the black packet used to be superb).

Last I heard the infamous Medomsley Road, Consett was about to close down.

I blame Walkers again, Doritos don't even come close.

Interestingly Lays have just introduced Salt & Vinegar in France. Lays and Walkers are the same company and are identical so, if you like Walkers you'd like Lays. Not the best crisps but both are excellent contrary to what Swiss says.

Both owned by Pepsico
